I was looking at the nismo struts but would they improve my cars ride or are they
Useless. I was also looking at coil overs but is there a point of installing coil overs if I have no intention of lowering the vehicle.
Lowering is not an option

Pretty much all coil over kits lower your car somewhat. A Hotchkiss front sway bar will be the simplest improvement to handling in corners. South Jersey, twisty roads, really?

I have the nismo front and rear sway bars
So no struts or coil overs correct

I know it sounds crazy but going from freehold area to Middletown/red bank
Area crossing holmdel and Lincroft provides an enjoyable ride or going down to the Camden area from long branch with jumping on the turnpike and let’s not forget going to the wineries.
Its the reason I drive this car

why does it seem like there has been an increase in new Z owners that

"want to have fun" but "no plans to lower the car"

what we are doing here? it's a fuckin sports car. don't be a wuss

No ones a wuss and no need for negativity. It’s a roadster and I have trouble getting in my driveway as it is. I had my share of low riders and I’m not a fan

it's 2020

technology exists that makes drive way complaints moot

you can't tell me you bought a ******* 2 seat roadster because it was convenient and comfortable

you also can't be naive enough to think you're going to make the car handle better without ACTUALLY modifying the suspension, right?

if you wanted an awesome handling car that didn't need any modifications, and also does daily driver ****, you bought the wrong car buddy. the Z is a starting point, not an endpoint. Not for folks scared of a driveway

I’m not sure why , in everyone eyes I’m supposed to lower my car
I’m comfortable with my car the way it is. I bought the z cause I’m a Nissan
Guy. I owned
280zx current
2012 maxima
2013, 2015, 2018 pathfinder
2020 armada current
G37 coupe awd
Q50 awd
Qx60
2018 rogue current
Pictures anytime at request (my q50 was sweet)
I bought this car to mod without repercussions
I installed Kenwood nav unit with focal speakers
Stillen cold intake
Oil cooler
Nismo exhaust
Nismo front and rear sway bars
Purchased nismo diff and
Z1 400 hp package
Will follow with a nice tune

Nice pair of rims and some nice big brakes to follow

So I need to know that this princess can handle after
This added power
I bought this car to drive. I lowered my g37 and q50 and hated not only
Getting into the driveway but having issues going to car washes, getting work done on a lift, the lust goes on for me lowering the car is a hassle
You guys do what you please. To each it’s own

So if anyone has ideas on how to improve handling with lowering than I’m all ears
Thank you

What do you not like about your current handling? Truthfully, “better” handling means different thing to different people.

I like the handling but concerned with the increase
In hp I might need to beef up the suspension. The nismo diff in general going to
A higher ratio with the stock suspension.
I read in this forum with a stiffer suspension the car will launch better and come
Off the turns better

In your driving condition, I would think Hotchkis front bar (as Nismo#91 mentioned) , a real LSD (since you mentioned power on corner exit), brake pad+fluid upgrade give the best immediate bang for bucks.

Of course, if you are real serious about pushing your car the limit on those twisty roads, then stock alignment won’t suffice, then lead to needing adjustable control arms, yadiyada etc.

Ditch the Nismo sway bars and get a Hotchkis front bar. The Nismo coilovers are over dampened for the springs. A good set of coilovers like the Forture 500 and the correct springs will do wonders. Change the upper front control arms so that you can adjust the camber and caster. The SPL arms are the only way to go. As you don't have to remove the arms to make adjustments. Plus they hold the adjustment too.

Get your Z aligned with these spec's.
Front camber -2, caster +6, toe 1/16" in.
Rear camber -1.75, toe 1/16" in.
This will give you a good handling Z without eating up the tires.

Brakes. The 'bono's are a good caliper. Just need good pads, stainless lines and good brake fluid. Most use the Motul 600. I use Castol SRF fluid. It's $$$

You got the Z1 400HP package. To get the most out of it. You have to ditch the Nismo exhaust too. High flow cats, test pipes or LTH's are the way to go. Otherwise, you got a cork in the exhaust.

Thxs for the advice
I already purchased the nismo diff . Is it really not a good choice I thought it
Was the easiest plug and play option.
Also does the hotchkis bar really make that much of a difference I just bought the nismo bar
