Good choice on both.

Folks seem satisfied with the kw v3’s build quality and greet comfort but they are not up to snuff for performance oriented driving. Also, limited lowering capability, no top mounts and no pillowballs anywhere
Heard very little of the rs-r but the specs indicate similar limitations Fortune Auto and PowerTrix are in the same price range and give you pillow balls more adjustment with rebuild ability stateside and customization if you want. I think BC does too. Hotrodz here tracks his car on fortunes effectively. Jarblue as well

KW V3's are more than capable for spirited street/canyon driving. They also have 2" front and 1.7" rear lowering capabilities. My current car came with BC ER's and they were so bad, I removed them and replaced them with the KW's. Not an expense I wanted at the time but the BC's were complete junk.

V3 is very capable. The only thing I’ve heard is spring rate isn’t high enough to use with full slicks.
I forgot his username...a known track guy, he tracked a motoiq 370z with V3

I run the V3's along with spl front and rear billet arms. going back I wish i wouldve went with fortune 500's cause the KW's squeak like a mofo
if youre going all out with suspension youd be a fool not to run crazy specs in my stupid opinion. good luck with everything!! |

I went the powertrix route because of Charles support and I’ve been happy with them but like most I don’t have anything to compare them against. The thing that turned me off to the V3’s were they don’t give the coil spring rate and then when I called and got someone to give me the rate they seemed rather soft compared to other options and then also they are progressive rate springs which I’m just not a fan of. I tested them in my buddies m3 (he likes em) and I know it is not apples to apples at all but it still had that unsure lean over in turns that I feel is largely due to the progressive spring since every car I’ve driven that has progressive springs has that same sensation. Also his make noise as well. An option that is now available that was not when I got mine is the Greddy coil overs which are using KW single adj. dampers but with linear springs. Otherwise the powertrix have held up well and I believe they are on a big sale again so great time to buy if your looking that route.
