I chose the Tein Mono Flex for our shop car due to their mono tube design and the linear spring rates, as opposed to the KW V3 twin tube/progressive spring design. People will argue all day long about progressive/linear springs, but you can't really argue the mono tube's superiority over twin tube shocks on the track.
Now, if we're talking strictly street use, just flip a coin and I'm sure you would be satisfied with either coilover ![]() |

They are revalved and with stiffer springs. And Robbie likes his cars setup pretty soft. Different strokes for different folks.

Any opinions/experiences or insight between:
> Ksport Kontrol coil ( http://www.ksportusa.com/asp/coilove...roduct_id=cd01 ) > D2 Racing RS coil ( http://www.d2racing.com/content/products/RS_coilovers ) > BC Racing BR coil ( http://www.bcracing-na.com/bcproduct.html ) Was going Stance but i've waited for them since Dec. 16th and still don't have a definite ETA. These are not the best and i understand but i am in college so i will NOT be spending close to 2k for coils (aka Tein, KW, etc). With that said i kind of like the Ksport but don't know much about them...yet Edit: seems Stance shipment now "has" actually landed and i would be getting the Stance coils pretty soon. Now do i believe this or not ![]()

Megan, BC, and KSport got good reviews when I had my Subaru Legacy GT.
I think BC were designed better of the 3 due to the collar adjustment and tub design. All in all, if you go for the more affordable CO, look to see how available replacement parts will be and cost. Just in case after 30k miles, you have a leaking strut, you can replace them easily and for about $100. I had GPMoto Coilovers and they were located in Seattle WA and got great service and replacement parts for my Subie, but I think they were closing down....So bigger companies have staying power, ie Cusco, Tein |
