In my case I would like to save some weight on four corner's, and to have a better replacement for the stock rotor when they are ready to be changed.
EDIT: Using after market racing pads are shorting the life of the stock rotors. So a lighter, better quality, and slotted or J shape rotor will be a good replacement for me. Thanks

For the Z, floating makes very little sense. Most people don't plan on maintaining their floating rotors by cleaning the bobbins every so often (which requires new attachment hardware). Also, they can cause some noise even with float springs in place, like the factory rotors on the R35 GT-R. Would a high-quality 2-piece non-floating rotor assembly do the job? Certainly! Would Z owners be willing to buy a proper fixed 2-piece version (not one using a cheesy low-cost rotor ring) over a more expensive "full-floating" version? Let me hear what you all have to say! Just gathering input from the crowd. There are some options in the works, but they probably won't all make it to production. Feedback is important at this stage before as final decisions need to be made soon.

I think we need to open a new thread (to get more attention)
