KW V3 Issue
Hey Guys
Installed KW V3's on my Nismo about a year ago. A couple months ago I kept hearing grinding noises coming from my drivers side wheel well. Anyways, after some trouble shooting we got it down to the strut/dampener. Called KW and they said that I can send it back to get rebuilt but im not in a situation to have the car sitting on jacks for 3+ weeks. KW said they would sell me just the front coilover since i ran into this issue for 600$. Kind of thinking to get a different set of coils or even a proper spring/shock combo. What would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance |

Do you have the stock setup still? If you’re not too low, you could put the one corner back to stock while the KW is rebuilt. Too bad they can’t just send you a rebuilt now for a few bucks and refund you when they get yours. That seems plenty reasonable.

I don’t know man. Seems like a waste to get rid of them just bc one shock is bad. I’m on BC racing myself.

You’re in SoCal
You can find a buddy who can loan you some stock suspension to bum around on while your coil over is fixed. Buy him some pizza or something

I just tightened the dampeners about 2/3 the way and it took care of 90% of the noise, i think maybe the issue was they were traveling to much |
