I noticed a lot of members on here have removed theirs completely with the exception of the lower rubber isolator. To those who have, have you experienced any noticeable clanks and noises?

I still have my factory rubber cone sitting on top of my rear coilover to eliminate any noise, but I feel like if it is not needed, I should remove it as well. Any draw backs from leaving them out or in? Tell me your thoughts.

I've seen people cut the rubber cone to reduce its height. I haven't seen anyone remove it completely with stock springs. How would the spring stay in place? I'd imagine it would be noisy as hell. I've only seen it removed when replaced with aftermarket springs/coilovers that include a top hat.
