I've had the Z1 over control arms for a year now and oneof them broke after bottoming out on the inside of the fender. I replacedthe broken outer spherical bearing on both sides and firmed up coilovers. It rides about as hard as I could ever want a car to ride but at certain speeds it still connects with the fender. I feel likethe design of the Z1 arms rides higher thanit needs to buy sticking high out of the top of the spindle.
I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger on a set of SPL control arms. Are they really worth the money? Are they the best on the market? Do they allow for more clearance than the Z1's? Thanks in Advance! ![]() |
