Surpisingly enough i have Megan Racing FUCAs, and ive been tire dropping on buttonwillow trying to find the limits.. those who know that course its a very violent tire drop.

No issues yet, but even if they dont they will become SPLs once everything else is sorted out.

oh yeah, it was kinda of a rhetorical question while thinking Id get a response like yours. I guess Ill find out, Im going to take look at them this afternoon.

Think about it, if those arms failed from a dip in the road, like you said, thats a hazard and scary as hell.

Do the Kinetix have this same problem? It's a similar design

Similar scenario....there was a freak accident some years back, when the OEM upright (which connects to the FUCA) snapped during a corner, sudden loss of any ability to control and car just went straight. Car was totaled. It was a member that moved from Texas to Hawaii. Same thing would've happened if a FUCA experience catastrophic failure.

I remember that. But can't think of his name.

Kinetix Arm:

Z1 Arm:

SPL Arm:

Seems fairly obvious Kinetix is a knockoff company and you should throw their **** in the trash and not support them (even though they're knocking off and simplifying an official shitty product, lol)

And also should be obvious why the SPL arm is what you want. Infinitely stronger and more adjustment (camber AND caster), and they use quality parts
JARblue and wideglideleon like this.

To clarify, Kinetix arms came way before Z1

Had no idea Kinetix came first. Wonder if Z1 just sourced the same design from the factory just to get another crappy cheapo option into the market

Voodoo13 . . . no experience with them personally, my local shop has good thing to say about them and they do alignments for all sorts of cars.

I believe some of their designs were good enough that SPL went back and revised some of their stuff just to stay ahead.

Note that the Voodoo's have a form of "boxed" design thats much beefier than Z1 or Kinetix, HOWEVER, they aren't caster adjustable
