I'm considering this upgrade but I don't see anyone talking about it. I've seen the Z1 collars and the Energy urethane bushings. Anyone using these? Thoughts?

Rear Sub-Frame Bushings

I have solid ones from Voodoo13. Honestly my least favorite job to do so far.
The z1 inserts look like they get you 80% of the way there for 25% the pain in the ***

I think I have had mine on for about 3 weeks and I love them. From what I noticed is that rear end just feels more planted for example the rear end of the car doesn't move around as much when hitting the throttle(its more on and off with minimal shaking), also high rpm shifts feel more solid when transitioning from gear to gear and I noticed when turning spiritedly the car feels more precise, I assume thats because the subframe isn't moving around as much. Installation was easy and I didn't notice any extra NVH in the cabin. I feel like the 370z is a little soft from the factory which I think Nissan did on purpose, so any driver feel mod like this always helps. Overall great product and I would recommend it!

I bought Z1 collars, however, there will be a lot of parts to be installed at the same time, cannot give a fair impression, I decided to go with them for the installation easiness although I will not be the one installing them.

Collars are an improvement over worn bushings but not as good as replacement solid ones
i THINK the collars slip on so you don't need to completely drop the subframe, but like others have said, if you're gonna go that far, you might as well go all the way Drop the subframe, burn the f- out of the old rubber bushings, and put replacement solid ones. SPL makes ones that will certainly fit perfectly

I have the SPL solid bushings sitting on my bench. I'm waiting to get over this flu, and getting more strength in my right arm. I'm only at about 20%.

Sounds like the solid SPLs might be worth the extra work. Need to find another press at work. I don't have access to the one I used for the LSD. Room's been converted to something else and I don't know where they put it. Anyone have a link to a DIY? Want to know what I'm getting into.

When you say a little noise... Is it really noticeable or is it just little more road noise coming through?

Good luck on the recovery. I seem to remember you saying 20% quite a while ago. Keep actively working on it, physical therapy/stretches/strength training. Been through a couple of injuries and surgeries and know how much work it can be to get back close to where you were before.

The NVH isn't that bad. If you were to do or already have solid diff bushings that would be a different story.

Has anyone tried the solid delrin bushing MaxParts offers? I have been debated getting these over others when dropping the money on their rear upper arms. I figured it would be a good in-between SPL's solids and the inserts or someone else's more elastic replacements. Plus they allow for roll-center adjustment.
