Old 350EVO Camber Adjustable Front Control A-Arm
I was thinking about what suspension components I would like to run later. I had these camber adjustable front arms on my G35C a few years back. They were designed by 350EVO who sponsored the Grand-Am Z back in '03. They were relatively light, really well made, had good adjustment range and never had any issues holding settings on track days. It appears that 350EVO is now gone.
I wonder if a new vendor could replicate this design for the 370Z. I was doing some old reading and it appears the the same problems/arms (SPL, SPC ECT) available back in '03 had the same clunking problems I read some of you guys who track experienced back then too. I never had an issue with these and I don't think anyone with the FM platform did either. Here are a few pics and some text I copied from an old post on a G35 forum: My old arms before I sold them: Forum Pic: Info Text: Quote:
G35 Driver What do you guys think?

I just loved the 350EVO arms performance on the G35. Never had a problem, clunk or issues with the arms. I was very sad to discover they didn't fit 370Z and I was disappointed I had to sell them.
It would be nice if someone could make a set for the 370Z

Never tried the 350EVO control arms on my old 350Z. Tried Cusco and had problems with those then switched to SPL Parts and LOVED them. Can't wait until they come up with something for the 370Z.
I have SPC camber arms on my 370Z right now and they will not hold my settings on the track.

Having an all 1 peice machined aluminum arm was nice also instead of the welded together steel peices. Less unsprung weight (although probably anything will weigh a bit more than stock) and no welds to fail, not to mention bling/cool factor. Mike at Corner 3 Garage expressed some interests in seeing these so I PM'd him a link. We'll see of anything comes of that...

I don't know anyone from the former 350EVO brand, but I do know someone at SPL Parts and have been trying to get him to make 370Z arms for a year. He really wants to make some, but needs a 370Z in Austin, TX to have at his shop for a few weeks for development. He hasn't been able to find one yet obviously.

Good idea. I noticed that's in the "southern region" forum. Maybe you'll have better luck if you re-post it in the Texas forum.
