I have them front and rear and love them and you will feel the difference for sure I mean in weight saving and along with upgraded lines and pads you will have better stopping feel

As everyone stated there is significant difference on the front and a decrease in rotational mass overall. I track my car and they have worked as advertised!

I prefer the Racing Brake 2 piece rotors. More expensive but they last forever. Had a set on the race prepped 350Z and the Racing Brake lasted forever. Z1's were not available at that time, so there was no way to have tested them. I have a set of rotors for the 370Z, that I hope to install next year.

When I installed the rotors the very first thing I noticed was one the weight difference. OEM rotors seem like the weigh a ton. z1 rotors were nice and light. The car was more precise on turn in. The steering didn't feel as heavy. Now that I put the OEM rotors back on I can tell a huge difference in performance. They really are a great investment.

Cool thanks guys for all the info, iam trying to save wheight where I can to maximize performance, I want to get the most out of my sc kit also so rotational wheight will help, my hauls as it is but every little bit helps, plus it needs the added stopping power now, wonder how the rotors work with the stock pads

I don't track mine, but I realized that I was going to cotinually be pissed off at the stock rotors/junk pad combo, so I decided it's a nice enough car to go all in, and given it has good calipers already, whynot.
HUGE difference on turn in, no longer feels like a boat anchor is tied to the steering wheel; They just take abuse, and get better and better the more you push 'em. I couldn't be happier, although I do wish the EBC Redstuffs didn't need as much heat in 'em to be effective, so next time I'll prob go with a different pad... forgot to add: Motul 600 and SS Lines were installed. and some bling factor: |

Also have the Z1's on the front. No issues so far, and have had a couple track days on them.

Try the Nismo pads. I have them on my Z1 2pc front and rears. The Nismo pads are semi-metallic and need heat in them after a long trip on the highway, but for city driving they perform well. I like them more than the RedStuff for sure.

Second for the Nismo pads. Just great modulation. My Z1 rotors seem to be holding up pretty well. With better pads/tires, you'll want better tires.
