Urgent: Akebono reassembly, torque spec?
So my powdercoating company unassembled my Akebono sport brakes before he powdercoated them. He did not put them back together after.
I now have it at my body shop, the rebuild is completed but he is unsure what the torque spec is needed to tighten the bolts and put the calipers back together. Does anyone have experience with this? I have googled and didn't find any results.

Thanks for the link, I don't believe I have what I am looking for (the bolts that hold the 2 caliper halves together)
but from a youtube video comment and this link: DIY: Sport Brake Caliper Rebuild https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=artb4VxLaig I believe the answer for the front 4 piston caliper 17mm bolt is around 80lb. I have no idea on the ones for the rear caliper (I believe the bolts are 14mm?)

I'm looking at page BR-46 for the '13 FSM and it shows 91 ft-lb of torque for what appears to be the two bolts holding the 4 piston caliper together.
Here's a portion of the page: There is a legend for the symbols and numbers in the GI (General Information) pdf. Table of contents is in the fwd.pdf. If you aren't familiar with it, it can be a little difficult to navigate.. But after you figure out how to find what you're looking for it's unbelievably useful.

Thanks Rusty. I saw some other posts about just using the bolt size/specs to look it up, which puts it ~91 ftlbs. So...say in changing my rotors I accidentally loosened the caliper half bolts and saw some brake fluid leak slowly. I didn’t have the fluid cap off and tightened it up within a minute or so, and didn’t see any more leaks. This was all before I used the caliper piston press tool, etc. Should I be OK?

The mounting bolt for the front caliper is in the 90+ range.
Best to check the bolt size and refer to a torque chart for the bolt holding the caliper halves together. The FSM does specify the base brake caliper bolts to be 20 and 32 ft-lbs for the front and rear calipers, respectively. No reference to the sport package calipers.
