I just turned the factory rotors and installed Endless MX72 pads.
http://www.endless-brake.info/index....unds/item/mx72 Then changed the fluid to Wilwood EXP 600+ brake fluid. Outstanding brakes, no noise, no fade and no chatter. Some dust, a little more than OEM pads. Been tracked alot this summer and I drive it to work every day. Last edited by SG4247; 06-30-2017 at 06:57 PM. |

Like some others have said, stainless lines and good DOT 4 fluid make a more noticeable difference in feel than any street pads or rotors out there. I'm currently running EBC red stuff on their USR ultimax slotted rotors and I am very pleased with the combo. No need to go drilled or even slotted if only doing spirited street driving but I would slot before drilling. Just remember to pair good pads with good tires. Great pads with sh!ty tires won't equate to good stopping power.

Pad recommendations
If you're not going to track, don't bother with drilled or slotted rotors. You won't get any benefit from them and they can only cause you problems.
Also I've used the Stop Tech street pads for numerous track sessions and they work fine. Plenty of stopping power with no fade even on MSR Cresson 1.3 which is hard on brakes because there's no straights for cooling. There's certainly a level at which these won't be suitable for track, but I'm not close to that yet. They are also great street pad with low dust. As others have suggested, stainless steel brake lines are well worth it. |

What is a recommended pad that will at least have better initial bite than the stock pads? I want something like stock just with better initial bite. I've seen people say the hawk ceramics and the stoptech performance pads. If anyone recommends the stooptech ill probably just go with those since they are $40 cheaper. Thanks ahead of time!
