Another suspension question

Quick question, if I replace just the rear 2 shocks, will I have to get an alignment afterwards? I will be putting all new 4 tires as well

Car is not lowered in anyway with all the stock suspension at 60k

Thanks!

For rear shocks no you won't. However it's not a bad idea to get an alignment check periodically especially with new expensive tires. Alignment don't hold forever, especially with crummy roads and slotted adjustments

The rule of thumb is.....as long as ride height remains the same, you don't need to get an alignment. Changing out the shock absorbers usually does not affect ride height.

However, yes it would be a good idea to get the alignment checked due to your mileage regardless of whether you change your shocks or not.

Ok sounds good, looks like I'm going to be buying new shocks, I was thinking of getting koni yellows but was wondering if the fronts are inserts or are they full replacement? I have an 09 civic si that the fronts were inserts requiring to reuse the strut housing and don't want to have to go through that again if I can avoid it

Koni's are a full replacement. But you have to reuse the spring and top hat. A thread on the install.
