toe bolts?
 

So I ordered some rear toe bolts, SPL's part # 72265 for my 370Z. When the shop went to install them they saw that they are exactly the same as what is already on the car stock. What went wrong? Wrong part #? Do they go in a different place?

You already have factory toe bolts that allow for the full range of adjustment, perhaps you meant camber bolts? The stock camber is maxed out at -2.0 in the rear at stock right height.

I am on BC racing BR series coilovers and SPL rear camber arms with alignment #'s of...

Toe: 0 all 4 corners
Camber: -1.3F / -1.7R

I want -1.2R camber but as low as I am if they dial in less camber the toe gets messed up and the stock toe bolts are maxed out.

I was of the understanding that the SPL part should have a greater range than the stock part, but you'll have to wait for someone that has installed it. I only have the SPC Camber arms up front and my rear camber is set to -1.6 with stock suspension.

Yes, SPC toe/camber bolts will allow for great adjustment range (approximately +/- 3 degrees) vs. the stock bolts which max out at around +/- 1.5/2.0 degrees. When lowering the car you will need the additional range of adjustment from the SPC bolts.

I measured the cam part of the stock toe bolts and the SPC toe bolts today and the SPC's are 1mm bigger. Is that going to allow for that much more adjustment?

Im about to lower my 370 on coilovers and was looking for an answer to the same thing. I will be getting the Eibach or SPC rear camber arms but do I also need these toe bolts? I have heard conflicting information. Help!

I think you get the greater range of toe adjustment by drilling a wider hole where the bolt goes.

I installed my coilovers and rear camber arm but didn't install the toe kit. The corner balance is so worth it. I had them make the rear of the car slightly higher than the front. Left right 51%, 49% and front rear 54 46.

My SPC toe bolts worked. My Z now has a much better alignment.

They were the proper part #. They fit and worked perfect.

I put in my coilovers myself, (Stance GR+) also ordered the SPC rear camber arms..

Did anyone really widen out the part of the frame with a rotary tool like they say you are supposed to for that eccentric toe bolt? Just find it funny that in DDM's write-up of the camber arm install, it doesn't mention that at all.
I was going to let the alignment shop deal with that but was curious if anyone knew..

Yes, you need to widen the hole in the subframe slightly, it's very easy to do with a grinder, drill bit or even a hand file. The material is aluminum and very easy to work with.

You only need to widen the hole in one direction if the car is lowered, I believe it's towards the center of the car to pull the toe arm inwards which helps correct the extreme toe-in. You could widen the whole both ways but I doubt anyone here would ever need the additional toe-in adjustment.
