so from what I'm gathering from this thread is that you will be fine with the factory toe adjustments if you go with the SPL rear camber arms (not toe bolt kit) as long as you don't want rear camber less than about -1.7deg?
AAAAAND...you will need to open up the hole in the subframe with the SPL camber arms? |
Camber arms don't require widening the holes. Maybe you meant toe bolts? I told my alignment guy not to install toe kit, he told me it should be installed. But after the alignment he told me alignment is ok no need to install toe kit.

Resurrecting this thread, instead of making new one. I installed SPL rear camber arms, still can't get camber in spec (-2.5), tech said toe is the limiting factor. I'm on swift springs. Going to install toe bolts, but why do I need new bolts if I need to widen the hole anyway for more adjustment, won't the stock bolts still work, or is it just good practice to upgrade since SPC bolts are a little larger/stronger?

SPC toe bolts work just fine! I have SPL everything else, but everyone I spoke with said there was no need to get a different toe bolt.

The SPC's have a larger washer increasing the adjustment range. I was able to get to -2 camber and 1/32" toe in without them, with them I now have -1.75 camber and same toe in. Could probably get less camber if I wanted to.

I'm at -1.6 and 1/32...

Thanks guys, looks like I'll try and install the SPC tie bolts this weekend. :)
