Brake Fluid Rec... USE MOTUL RBF600

How in the hell is there a 15 page long thread on the track forum talking about brake fluid?!?

...If you're going to the track,
Use:
- Motul RBF600 or 660

Everything else is putting your safety at risk.

Torque RT700 and Castrol SRF RBF are solid choices as well ... just more expensive.

Years ago I boiled ATE Super Blue fluid practicing emergency braking maneuvers in a nearby parking lot. Switched to RBF600 and haven't looked back since :driving:

Endless RF650, Brembo HTC 64t, and Castrol SRF are all better than RBF600, but nowhere near as cheap.

I will try Castrol SRF next season, but how about using it for clutch fluid?

I have been using Motul 600 for the last two years with no issues.

Just remember your once per year flush and refill as it loves to absorb water.

I have been using Castrol SRF and it is awesome. I have not had any issues with boiling or performance. I have also heard good things about using it for clutch fluid. I currently have Motul and I have no complaints with it.

Allright fine, there is Castrol SRF, but it's like 3x the price of Motul 600.

Whole point being, a thread is not required for this.

Let alone pages worth.

Not really 3x the price, although RBF600 is cheaper. The main diffeence is SRF comes in 1 liter bottle for around USD 60. So a little less than twice the price.

Lol, I think it does because it keeps coming up! Lot of new people that don't use the search or want read through all the pages of comments. The products listed are all good and based on your how much you track and how you are on your equipment may dictate the choice of product. I like the Castrol because you get twice or three times the use over Motul as well. So the cost is a push for me!

I appreciate you bringing these topics up because a lot of information is past along, quickly and concisely. Thanks bro!
