Evaluation of pads and rotors needed

BLUE CHROMEBRAKES DRILLED & SLOTTED Rotors
Chrome brakes ceramix pads

I was wondering if the above brakes and and rotors would be a good choice for a base model 370z? If a different like priced set are recommended, I am happy to use your advice. The car is a daily driver and probably will never be driven on a track or auto cross. I will also be using Motul RF600 fluid.

Thanks for you sharing your knowledge.

That website seems sketchy to me - when I tried to check the price by adding the parts to a cart, it gave me an error. I'd just go with Z1 Motorsports.

Plus, if you're not using the car for performance, why do you need cross drilled and slotted rotors? And if you just want them for the looks, why do you care what anyone else thinks? Note, I would expect the blue color to wear off where the pads contact the rotor.

Thank you kindly for the reply. Yes, the looks will play some factor. Yet, if anyone has had any negative experience with these. I would like their input. I actually selected black. Not sure why blue showed up.:yum:

I would expect them to at least get scratched up and lose the shine. Did a Q&D search for pics of used rotors but all I found were new ones - or they wear exceptionally well.

Did some more research and read some reviews. Looks like Jay was correct (Thank You) . No need to buy a color if it rubs off after break in. This is why I love this place. You guys just saved me from a misinformed purchase.

I purchased EBC rotors with black faces years ago. It's just paint, and it's gone after the bedding process. I was a little irritated, but I should have known better. My consolidation was that they paint the hub as well, so it doesn't rust like the OEM rotors do.

I had it happen to me. Happy to save someone else from the same experience :tiphat:
