From day one with this car, at full left lock from a standing start mine clunks one or two times, but only if the car has not been driven, like overnight. Can feel it as well as hear it. Doesn't happen to the right, does not happen when rolling, does not happen after the car (tires??) is warmed up. No grinding. Sounds/feels like a CV joint that is bad if you have ever felt that on a FWD auto. No physical rubbing in wheel well, etc. that I can see.

This is a stock 11 roadster with auto and sport package.

I will watch from outside again to see if either of the front tires is actually slipping, which is what it feels like.

Original dealer, who will not see the car again, knew nothing about it and didn't seem very interested. Went through the tire pressure/alignment blah blah, focused on this being operator error or imagined, tires mounted backwards, etc. They are just guessing, which is annoying of course. Perhaps the new dealer will have something to say about it.
