I was going to, bought the springs from DD but a buddy of mine that owns a Suspension shop in Fullerton told me it was a bad idea. He put it up on the rack and said it looked like it was all set up from the factory and really talked me out of it.
I do think I'll put some $ into coilovers but I'll wait until I start hitting the track. Car rides pretty still already, I'd hate to make it ride too much stiffer then it already does.

My thoughts exactly.
I've already rubbed the front nose a couple of times just from driveways and I hit them at a huge angle. My old car had these things called horseshoes that you could bolt to the front and once they wear you just replace them. They went on both sides of the front and I'm thinking about buying a set and adapting them to fit my Z.

i've heard estimations that the Nismo is only about 0.1" lower than stock. the longer flat-bottom front bumper makes it require more work to get around and over stuff though.

If you do it, make sure it is with full coil overs.
