Default Z1 Motorsport Premium S/S Brake Lines

I purchased Z1 Motorsports Sport Brake upgrade along with their stainless steel premium brake lines.
My mechanic installed the rotors, pads and from brake lines but the rear lines are too short. He stated that he could cut and remove some bracket to make them fit.
I got ahold of Z1, but they were no help at all. They just wanted pics to see what the problem looks like.
Has anyone had this problem before? I have been using this mechanic for many years and he is an extremely honest individual and friend.
My car is a 2014 Touring/Sport with a M6.
Any help here there?

When Z1 ships them, they're not screwed together. So there are two different lines that both screw into the brass block. One is short, one is long. The long one goes on the rear, the shorter one goes up front.

Pic. rear lines are up top, front lines are on the bottom of the photo:

I have, it was years ago now. Can't remember the specifics but two of the lines were too short. Called Z1 explained the situation and gave them info on the part number on the bags and they said they sent the wrong part. They next day delivered a completely new kit and included a prepaid mailer to send back the incorrect parts and any of the parts I did not use from the replacement kit.

thanks for the replies. I have been in contact with three different people at Z1 and who knows. I have an appointment today to see if the front lines should have gone on the back and the ones I have in my hands go up front.
Time will tell!!!
