Ax you still like the powertrix? I read your review a while ago and sounds really nice. I think I'm down to fortune or powertrix just need to decide if I want linear or digressive damping. I've read in some cases linear can feel smoother because if the less low speed damping so for some of my freeways that have a lot of ripple bumps that may not have enough force to open the digressive circuit it may feel smoother.

My set up is on the stiff side of things as I have a Hotchkiss front bar, SPL everything and a 4 point roll bar lol! I like a stiffer set than most as I don't consider the stock Nismo suspension as to stiff. The damping is the big deal along with the spring rates. I think the 11/8 setup is perfectly fine for highway and spirited driving but really like my current set up over the standard spring rates.

Well talked to fortune and they still believe their setup is at least a 1 inch drop minimum. I like the sound of everything else about their product just wish they had more range.

I'm running KW V1 and they're adequate entry-level coils. Nothing to write home about though.

Lol, I can respect that as every vehicle is a little different and from a business stand point I would also error on the side of caution.

Take a look at the Aragosta Type E or Type S (Type S is firmer). Both can do stock (or even a bit above) ride height as well as going way low. I have the Type S and they're firm but not harsh. They seem to take the sharp edges off of bumps but on the really rough stuff they'll throw you around on medium settings. For back road stuff, they're just brilliant. I've zero need for sway bars with the higher spring rates.

You are able to order them directly from Japan and the import duty varies by state. I paid a measly $60 import duty on mine and two weeks to my door. Just PM me if you want more details on where to acquire them. You can get them from a certain performance shop here in the states but they'll be a full grand more dear going that route.

I've had my set going on three years now and really like it. It has been reliable and really like how the car drives. My set up is for street and not for tracking. I'm sure I'd want it stiffer if I were to track her. PT had a set for that. I've also come across with Charles numerous times since the install and he has been a pleasure to speak with. One of the reasons I decided to go with PT. If I have questions, he would respond right away.

Cool, well I only occasional track so street is more important. So I broke down and took advantage of the powertrix Halloween sale. Really hoping this is nice on the street.

I looked at the aragosta before and they did sound nice but pretty pricey and without being tuned for US roads it's a bit risky. I think a lot of the JDM stuff had complaints of being harsh until they started making US offices (tien I think is one of them)

A good choice, I have heard a lot of good things about them. I went with Auto Fortune because of their reviews and a Black Friday special or I would have gone with Powertrix...because my brother Axmea? said do!

Lol well if fortune were more certain of their ride height I was very tempted with them because of the digressive valving and 11/8 sounds less scary than 12/11 for street. I figure worst case if I put it on and find it too firm I'll just try to sell it, but Charles was pretty certain that it is a smoother ride than oem so x my fingers.
