Default Resurface Rotors

When I go over 50mph and brake, my steering wheel starts to shake. I had my local Nissan take a look and they advised that I resurface my front rotors. My question is, Will I eventually have to change my brake pads due to resurfacing? Should I just resurface and change the brake pads all at once?
