Good video. I've seen first hand what happens when a car is dropped too low. Car was much less driveable aggressively due to bottoming out.

Vivid has a long history of scamming people. They're as far from reputable as it gets. I'd rather go drinking with Bill Cosby than give them a dime of my business.

I had no idea, glad I'm not in the market for coilovers.. Thanks for the heads up.

TriNismo - Sorry for nearly steering you wrong!

I almost ordered last night but decided to sleep on it. Guess the saying if it's too good to be true..

To try and redeem myself - below is a link to MeisterR ZetaCRD coilovers, $995. I've included a link to a review of them if you're curious to learn more, but they seem like great value for money and something I'd definitely look into if I was buying.

Spacers on 370z?

The video uses 1" spacers and is most likely referring to ricer honda or toyota owners where their cars were never designed to run those offsets.

On the other hand, most of us with sport or base 370z's are wanting the same look as a nismo so we want to get rid of that 'pushed inward' look. I had H+R 15mm on front and 20mm on back (all with replacement studs) using my sport Rays with stock tire sizes which was close to the nismo stock offsets. Since the wheel mounting location is the same across all models and assuming Nissan would design the bearings to withstand the range of the different offsets of all 370 factory wheels, why all the mentions of fear and negative comments about wheel bearing wear?

Well glad I didn't try to order - I emailed them here and was told they only had two at that price and they sold long ago. So not sure why they still have that page on their website...

Will steer clear of dealing with them.

I don't care about the height adjustability of coils and only want a slight drop -- don't want to get into camber arms and all. I am thinking of going with something like Koni Yellows and eibach springs...

Haha -- like what you did there. I was figuring the Swifts would drop too much to get away with keeping factory camber parts. The Eibach springs have the most mild drop of any of the available aftermarket springs which is why I was thinking that...

Chuck33079 09-22-2016 09:18 PM

I've got the eibachs. They're not bad but I still needed camber arms and toe bolts. You need them pretty much if you lower the car at all.
