Alignment issue with SPC front arms
Hi guys I just installed SPC front camber arms on my z but during alignment the tech couldn't get the passenger side to alignment specs and the weird thing us there was no problem with the driver side.
I installed them the same time I installed the tein coilovers Any advice guys. Sent from my STV100-4 using Tapatalk |
Without digging into detail...
It would help if you can specific what is currently off (camber, toe or caster)? How low is your ride height? Slammed? Which version of SPC FUCA did you buy? There are two versions. |
Camber is off others are fine and am droped 1 inch but to be honest I don't know what version the cambers? How to tell the difference?
Am leaning towards installed on the wrong side? Sent from my STV100-4 using Tapatalk |

How much are you off on camber anyway?
Left pic is original (camber adjustable), right pic is the latest new design (camber & caster adjustable). Edit - first one also caster adjustable but smaller adjustment range, my bad. |

I installed them on my 15 Nismo with Ark GT-F springs and they hit on the pinch weld if I hit a bump too fast. They're the X axis .

It's - 2 and we couldn't to lower it more the sliding arm hits the max but for the other side it was OK we brought it to spec.
Maybe I should have chose SPL Sent from my STV100-4 using Tapatalk |
Did the tech have to max the other side to get it within spec? A 1 in drop shouldn't give such problem. If you can, I say double check the installation, also for failed bushings on the arms.
Sorry for your trouble. |
Thanks man I will save my self the hassle of removing and checking and get my a set of SPL
