2 peices rotors

Guys, I don't know if this subject was discussed before. Is it worth it to replace OEM rotors with 2 peice rotors any change in brakes performance I know they are lighter so would my car benefit from that.

And any good brands out there? I have the akebono brakes

Thanks

Z1 and yes it makes a difference on turn in due to the weight reduction.

You have the Z1 frt+rr and Racing Brake frt+rr, DBA front 2 piece rotors.

I have proven the crap out of the DBA-5000 front 2-piece rotors w track days + daily driving.

I guess some RB's have failed?

Any unsprung weight is a huge gain. I really want the z1. Plus on the z1 they have a nice open area around the hubs which I will bet help with bearing cooling. Doesn't seem like that's an issue on the z but im sure it doesn't hurt, e46 m3 bearings fail like crazy with track pads and 1 piece rotors.

Thanx for the response guys will check z1

Any after market brake upgrade will be much better than the factory fatties. All depends on how much you want to spend and what use

That's a 6 bolt lug pattern. What car is that on?

Gen 1 CTS-V, it was something about retrofitting causing a 1mm play somewhere... Rb wrote an explanation on their site.
