what brand is our brake pads ?
sorry for this question, but im sure the first response will have it answered, which brand oem brake pads are used on the non sport Zs. My brakes have been squealing really bad, got around 25000 kms on it, oem pads, and idk if its a pad or rotor issue, im hoping if i buy the same pads, they will last another 25000 kms and the sound will go away, its really embarrasing and i cant put my windows down lol..

Not sure the oem;
I machined my rotors & put a complete set of Napa's Adapt-One Ceramic pads,F & R,,,about 65.00 per set. So far/no complaints....installed @ 67,000 miles.

You may not need to replace the pads. There are several things that can cause brake squeal in addition to worn pads: glaze on the pads and/or rotor, dust shield coming in contact with rotor, &c. Several threads on this already.

Not sure if the non sports are also akebono but it wouldn't surprise me. Most all Japanese use akebono as the oem, low noise and low dust. street use I would just go akebono if you can't get rid of it after de glazing and re bedding in the current pads.

Same here with the noise man, I got 75k and i bought it at 15k, never replaced the pads so its time. I might as well change the rotors as well since i notice i have a small crack on the drivers front. Im just going with OEM parts.

check the clips that attach to your calipers where the brake pads slide into. I had an issue with one of the sides. It was not flush with the caliper and it was hitting the rotor. You may also want to check the pads themselves. Something as simple as a small rock or other debris can cause the squeal. It's not very hard to do.
