ADJUSTABILITY...if the bar has "about" the right stiffnes. From a chassis tuning point of view I want adjustability as the Bars control the "timing" of how soon each end of the car transfers enough weight to overload the outside tire and start sliding. The evo setup of bars from Robispec has 4 positions(7 discreet combinations) rear and 6 (9 combos) front. this so that at any given track tire temp combination we can make an EASY bar change which effects the wheel rate and gives the driver control about if and how much oversteer he has. We would otherwise have to resort to Spring changes...not your 5 minute change...I havent seen a bunch of adjustability with the current offerings...for the 370z

racerxj17 good to hear as was about to pull the trigger on a set for my Z, I will go ahead now... its great when you have your vehicle set up just how you like it, sounds fun....
I have run with Whiteline on my last two rides, one heavily tracked and they were great, I drew up my 'mod list' on the Z and cost was def an option, the Hotchkicks are def fitting the budget in my total 'cleared by Wife' mod fund..lol I am thinking for 3.2K I should ave a pretty potent little weekender. Bars for the 370Z and the GT-R are on order for delivery in late Jan/Feb. Whiteline is well known in the Subaru and Evo circles and they make track proven quality products at a very reasonble price.

Awesome thread guys. Modshack and RCZ, thanks a bunch. Answered my question on which brand of sways for my set up. Which is Eibach springs = Stillen sways set to medium in rear and soft for the front. Is this correct?
Curious on the spacers though. RCZ let us know how those 15mm fr and 20mm rears go. I pulled the trigger on 15mm fr and 25mm rear (same as Mike) and will be curious to see if any adjustment on the sways will bring it back to that sweet spot. |

I was running 15mm front and rear spacers and Eibach springs at the time Hotchkis used my car for some testing out at Fontana raceway. Mark Hotchkis drove my car and achieved the best time through the cones with the Hotchkis bars and the rear bar set to soft. We did timed runs with stock bars & Hotchkis bars in all positions. For what it's worth, I'm running 20mm spacers in the rear now and don't notice any difference. If anything I think the car has too much oversteer.
