Z1 front upper camber arms installed
Last night I installed my Z1 front upper camber arms did not take a lot of pictures but wanted to write a little review since it's a relatively new product. First impression out of the box they maintain good quality as expected from z1. My only complaint was the spacers on the hiem joints for the race arms could have held in place a little better, it isn't a big issue but I did fumble around with them a good bit. Spl rear camber arms have a similar spacer set up on the hiems but have a satisfying click as you insert them.
When installing the instructions were pretty spot on. I would recommend removing the air intake box in the passenger side when replacing the bolts on the power steering reservoir. If you have tiny hands I envy you, I first started and ended up dropping a bolt, bushing, and wrench down onto the plastic under tray and spent a good bit of time fishing them up and banging on the tray until I could get them out. Second part of the instal that i would like to give a little hint towards is the strut, I've seen some installs were people drop the whole strut, this isn't necessary you can get away with unbolting the top from the engine bay and pushing down in the hub to get the strut to move forward enough to get the upper camber arm bolts out. Getting both front uppers and rears done took a couple of hours and was pretty straight forward. Tomorrow I am heading to Ma motorsports for an alignment and will post my final thoughts on the product after I get some drive time. I'll also try to post a picture of the arm installed. |

Just got the Z back from the alignment shop and it feels great. The alignment took 4 hours due to the fact that the z1 arms must be removed each time to make adjustments. I should have spent more time measuring out the adjustment from but as I kept having to remove them each time I got a little more frustrated and lazy. Also might have helped to take my stock arms with me. So to save some money I suggest having the shop instal these or do this instal on a day that you are completely free and have the patience to fool around with the adjustments.
All in all I am happy with the product because now I can actually drive the z as it should instead of having some of the worst corner experiences ever. |

Good to hear, my install pretty much went the same way.
But I'm still having issues with mine. My arms are making terrible noise.. I have greased and regreased and to no avail.. Are you having this issue as well??

Did you get the race or street arms? I am running the race arms and haven't had any issues with noise so far, only been running them for about 50 miles. Maybe check to make sure everything is still torqued?

What sort of noise are we talking about here... a hum or a crunch?

That's horrible noise have you tried calling Z1 and ask?
Why waste money to make your z sound like it's falling apart. Good thing I did not consider buying this. Stuck with the oem arms, aluminum lightweight and works perfectly. |

I just had a set installed a couple weeks ago (street) and haven't had any issues. Did some very spirited driving this weekend too.
I did not install them myself and the shop did say it was a pita to do the alignment. Sorry to hear you're having problems with yours

Can you still ask Z1 for a refund? Yours might be defective if you already greased it.
I'm sure it's very annoying to drive your Z hearing that sound. Hopefully you can resolve this with Z1 otherwise ask help from forum admin to interside for you. |

With the race arms I have some noise over bumps but not nearly as bad as that. Tomorrow I do plan to take all the wheels off to look at the arms and make sure everything is still tight and squared away after the first 100 some miles.
