Default replacing shocks Do i need sturt boots and mounts?

Me and a friend are doing replacing the worn out struts for the first time in my 2010 370z with about 90k miles on it. Basically do I need to order struts boots and mounts? I hope not because I'm on a tight budget being in college at the moment. How can I tell without taking struts/shocks off the car?

we are ordering the KYB excel-g if that makes a difference
