guy told me I was In spec, I think not..HELP..
So after lowering my car on swift springs, took it to get an alignment. Tech did the alignment and said I was in spec, I don't think he knew what he was talking about.. Please help
Also I don't know for it matters but he out in the alignment computer that I have 18" rims, but I have aftermarket 19" rims. I asked him about it and he said it won't affect the alignment and he said I out 18" in the computer because that's what the car came with. |

Anything in red is out of spec. Unfortunately unless you have upgraded suspension components there isn't any adjustment in the front and very little in the rear. I'm on eibachs which I believe is a less aggressive drop and I'm out of spec in the back and maxed out in adjustment. It's just barely out of spec so I left it but I did upgrade the front control arms so I'd have adjustment.

So I'm guessing I'll need to get front and rear camber arms along with rear toe bolts correct?
|
Yeah you're running a lot of toe there. also a lot of camber on the rear compared to the front. But like jwick mentioned, you need after market parts to make those adjustments.

The alignment you have now isn't bad. So long as your toe settings are not aggressive, you should still see moderately even tire wear. The tech is right. Changing the wheel diameter does not change alignment. This angle -> _/ _/ will be the same regardless of the length of the lines. Their relation to one another is what is measured with camber. |
Well tell me what you all think, I was thinking of going with Z1 front camber arms and SPL rear camber arms and toe bolts.

I do not have any feedback as far as brands go, but when looking for camber arms I would avoid anything with open/unsealed joints.
|
If I'm not mistaken aren't all the joints sealed on all brands?

if dat was my car and if the rear did not step out abruptly during hard cornering i would keep it. try driving it in the rain and see if you like how the rear responds to your inputs.

I went with Z1 front upper control arms VERY happy, and SPL rear camber arms with SPC rear toe bolts. Love the ride and handling with my car lowered on Swift springs. Believe it or not I feel its a more comfortable ride than stock.
