Alignment for new Z?

I took my car to the dealer today for the 5000 mile service. They said all four tires are wearing unevenly. Outside in or inside out I forget but all the same. I have to take it back in a few days to put on alignment rack. Any ideas as to what is going on? Would the alignment go out this soon?

Got specs on what the alignment was?

No, I am taking it back next Monday. Probably just an alignment needed. My concern is that I have never owned a new car that needed an alignment this soon. Do these cars need alignments often?

I'm at 36K on my 2011 and I've never needed an alignment on it.

I'm at 46K and am calling around for the best prices today, you should not need an alignment so soon...

Howe bad was the wear, and have u noticed it pulling or riding unevenly? it very well could be a plot for a simple upsale..

Watch out for this. I would take a look at the tires yourself and then go from there.

It's entirely possible the alignment was off from day one.

This. I've had 0 mile cars that pulled from the dealership. My 2003 350Z Track was like that. Took umpteen visits to multiple dealers and many, many calls to Nissan NA before the culprit was found. Rear toe was out.

Then I've had cars like my 2008 C6 Corvette that ran dead straight and wore all 4 tires evenly, even after coilovers and lowering. Never had to align it, not even once.

Alignment is cheap and worthwhile maintenance, also makes the car more fun to drive:driving:

The dealer said there would be no charge for the alignment and of course anything it may need. My previous vehicle was a 2004 beat up Jeep. So the way the Z handles now is amazing to me. It doesn't pull or drift at all even under hard braking. Hopefully like one member said it was off from the factory. I will find out Monday and post results. Thanks for the responses.

If the tires are wearing in the inner treads, that is normal for the car.

Sometimes dealers have no faking idea so kinda skeptical.
