Question about prep work for a used set of swaybars.
So I recently bought a set of used Eibach sway bars. So there a bit dirty and I figured since they're off the car this would be a good time to clean them and apply new grease but I don't know what kind of grease I should buy. Also what should I use to clean the bars and polyurethane bushings? Will brake cleaner work or will this hurt the bushings. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

White lithium grease will work. I'd just wipe them down with a wet rag.
Also, if you wrap the bar with Teflon tape inside the bushings, it'll cut down on squeaks. |
Oh what a wonderful suggestion. Thank you.

You'll still need to grease the bushings, but it'll help keep things quiet. And be prepared for the rear end links to fail at some point. Replace them with SPL (not Whiteline!) when that happens.

I've already got rear spl endlinks and I have a set of front spl endlinks on the way.

So I spoke with eibach today. They suggested use a standard degreaser that wouldn't harm the powdercoating. For the grease they use engery suspension grease which I sourced from z1.
