Lowering Springs Setup Question
Hey all,
I've browsed through the forums and tried to find the answer to some of my questions but to no avail, I will ask for help. I plan on getting the ARK GT series lowering springs (haven't decided which one) and new rims. My questions are: Will I absolutely NEED a front and rear camber kit or just the rear kit? Will the stock sport tires (275/35) fit safely onto an 11in wide wheel? The stretched look is not as much of a problem as is the safety concern. Will I have need further modification to fit 19x11 +15 wheels on the rear with this setup? |

You don't necessary need camber kits if you don't mind running increased negative cambers and wearing down your tires sooner. Your car will run fine without it long as you get an alignment after the springs are settled. The camber kits are to help your alignment guy dial your alignments back to oe specs and saving your tires longer.
You can stretch 275s over an 11 inch rim. Not recommended but it's doable. All depending on your goal for the car. If you're going to drive hard, pick up a set of rear camber kits and wider tires. |

The GT-S drops the Z a little more at 1.4" front and 1.2" rear. Again, whether you use camber kits with your Ark springs or not is entirely up to you. |
