A friend of mine is the lead tech at a local Firestone. Luckily for me he and the general manager have a good relationship. I got my lifetime at $99. Its perfect for a project car because you can literally take the car in as much as you want. I wouldn't advise to do that, but you can. Pay for your alignment, and you can walk through with the tech on how to work your arms. Then, in the future, give a $20 tip to the tech doing the work to ensure a quality job.

Hey Fart, what alignment specs are you shooting for?

Nothing radical, in fact as it sits now, 3 out of the 4 tires are fine, a little bit of neg. camber but nothing extreme. Did raise the height to 26.5", both camber settings in the front were -.5, just the driver side didn't show it. Actually everything was in the green on the spec sheet.
Someone mentioned about the sway bar shifting, car only has 85 miles on since everything was changed. Pep Boys did call after getting car on rack and said everything was just as dealership spec wise put it, the Service Manager wanted me to stop by and show what I was referring to, after I showed him the adjusters he is more than willing to put in back on the rack and see if anything amiss and make adjustments. |

from the service manual: "When displaying the alignment settings, many alignment machines use “indicators”: (Green/red, plus or minus, Go/No Go). Never use these indicators." also like i was saying you need more negative camber. your arms aren't adjusted properly. you're past the max safe settings. when they're backed out and are sitting properly you'll have more negative camber than you have now. http://www.splparts.com/content/SPLFUAZ34.pdf

Picking tbe car up tomorrow morning. Will post pics of car and the spec sheet. They ended up setting the camber ar -1.8 degrees. Says it doesn't look agressive but gives me the clearance I didn't have before.

With the SPL arms. You have to adjust camber and caster at the same time. Interested in your final spec sheet to see what the caster is too.
