New JIC magic ZMS

Has anyone taken a look at the new coilovers from JIC ? They have a new ZMS line that is 100% made in the USA now, 32 way adjustable and supposedly uses 12 shim stacks for a wide range of adjustability. I looked at past reviews of their old FL series and wonder if these are better, anyone try them?

I've wondered if the new stuff has been redone vs the old stuff from 10 years ago. They did not hold up well back in the day if I remember correctly. Cracked lower strut mounts and whatnot. They look pretty nice now.

Yeah I saw that they had a lot of problems a while back but performed really well. The new stuff looks like it can rival a lot of the big boys now.

A guy I knew snapped off the lower mount on a rear wheel flat out on an autocross run. It was not pretty.

It was.

Outside of old issues how was the valving and track performance? The new stuff seems to be machined from aluminum and pretty tough.

I had a friend that had the FLTA-2's on his STi and they performed well. They rode pretty well on the street too. This is when I was in RI though. They performed well but did not do well in the winter. Rusted springs and seized collars after 1 winter. He swapped them out for zeals that were way more track oriented.

Thnx for the info. Their new setup looks pretty nice and I am very tempted to try them.
