Default swift springs + wheel spacers = HAPPY

2014 sport Z, 4k miles on the car.
swift spec r springs + wheel spacers by b2 auto design 20mm front / 25mm rear
alignment + spl rear camber parts going on next week. need time for the springs to settle in.
when i showed the shop my spl parts, they were shocked, they said you aren't playing around, its the best suspension part they have seen, they installed spl parts on a gtr last week. so they were overall happy that i was using spl parts.

swifts spec r - amazing ride quality, better than oem, handle has improved. the ride is not bouncy at all. once the springs settle in, ride quality will only improve. i love it.
the drop is perfect in my opinion. no scraping, no issues what so ever. i love it overall. (use spring compressor obv for the install)

wheel spacers - high speeds no shaking at all, no issues, everything was tightened up using a torque wretch on spacers + all 4 tires.

Default Nice...

Looks good Evil.
Just curious....any idea what your rear camber is at now?
Why I ask is, once the wheel stands up (pokes out more at the top) when the negative camber is reduced a bit when you get an alignment done, will you still want the 25mm spacers?
I know there are a lot of guys here running 25s on the rear and are quite happy, but I just tried a set of 20s on the rear of my car as a test AFTER an alignment to decide what to get and I figured 25s would have too much poke. (for my liking, anyway) The two of us even figured I could even consider 15s before going to 25s. The 20s were perfectly flush at the top. I know everyone has their own opinions, so you might not like what I like, but 25s would have been too much for me.
I put up a post in the Spacers 101 stickie thread under Wheels and Tires, and my pics look just like the ones posted up there. (I took pics on a BB but they were unusable so I deferred to the ones posted a couple posts prior to mine) It was Friday so my post is probably still the latest one.

EDIT....Just went back and looked. The pics of the rear are in post #318 from Bonzo.

I have no idea what my camber is right now. Going in on Friday for alignment and spl rear camber arms, toe bolts and lockout kit. I looked at your threat under the stickes section. Hopefully there won't be too much poke lol. I'll see what happens and keep you updated. Everyone told me to go 25's on the rear with stock 19 inch sport Rays / swift spring drop.

Well...I also read what everyone was saying about running 25s on the rear too, but I'm anal so I decided to see for myself before deciding what to get.
My rear camber went from -1.89 degrees when I went in to -1.69 degrees after the alignment. I had set the SPL arms to as close to the same length as the stock arms when they went on.
I bought one pair of H&R 20s knowing that's what I'd be putting on the front. I test fitted one of the 20s on the left rear Friday to see if I liked it or not. I decided I could not go with 25s.

I really value the opinions of others on here, but when it's my car, my money and I've got to live with it, I sometimes just have to do it my way.
I installed the Swifts, camber arms, toe bolts first. Then I did an alignment and measured to figure out what spacers to get. Measuring wasn't conclusive so I bought a pair of 20s to do a real world test. I went and ordered a 2nd set of H&R 20mm spacers. All four 20s will probably go on next weekend.

I love how the 20s look on the front of your Z. I was concerned whether 20s would be enough on the front. I was thinking you could almost run 25s. Now I figure the 20s are good to go. I was concerned about rubbing with the 25s.

Default 4 x 4

Geez...the more I look at your before and after pics, the more I think the before pics make the Z look like a Donk or even a 4 X 4. I'm not a huge fan of the newer Sport wheels either but they look SO much better with the drop on the Swifts and the spacers.

Looks good Evil.

The day I had my Xpel and C-Quartz applied I was looking at my Z in the parking lot from the window in a coffee shop. The 19 Sport wheels with the gap at stock height make it somewhat disgusting. Good word choice.

Keep us up to date and good luck Friday.
When I get mine completed I'll get some final pics up as well.
It's been OVER THREE months since my Swifts went in. The end is in sight, finally.

How are the roads by you? I already scrape the sport chin spoiler on my stock height Z on the crappy roads in NJ so I'm very apprehensive regarding lowering the car. It's my DD and I don't think it looks disgusting at stock height so I'm debating it.

im in long island, all the way east near river head. road are fine here. queens roads and city roads are a bit rough. this is also my daily driver.

at my stock hight- i scrape the front plastic chin spoiler thingy rarely if the driveway to a parking lot is soo deep or un even. but no worries. on bumps i don't scrape it. uneven roads i don't scrape.

on swifts - i think its the perfect drop to the point where you don't scrape plus i have motodyne exhaust and i deff don't want to scrape a 2k exhaust. i still haven't scraped or bottomed out. the plastic chin thingy i haven't scraped yet even on a speed bump. go slow, don't worry about people behind you. i love it, rides and handles better than oem and look great. i say you go for it. anything lower than swifts you will deff scrape.
