e-brakes line leaking?
 

If I'm not mistaken, the is the line for the e-brakes (parking brakes), right? I was adjusting my sway bars and when I pulled the line out of the way to tighten the nut on the sway bar end links, I noticed that it started leaking! Look at the attached photo. But I thought the parking brake is purely mechanical and doesnt use brake fluid (like the rest of the brake hydraulic system). Is this something else then???

That is the parking brake cable. And it does not carry fluid. I'm not sure what that liquid is, maybe water that got into the sleeve that goes over the cable?

yeah, that's what i was thinking too. i smelled it and it doesnt smell like brake fluid or any other type of fluid. must be jsut water. thanks!
