Good people on the forum unite

Hello I've been lurking on the forum for a while, my car is actually worthy enough to show, I have a 2014 370z 6spd. anyways, I'm on bag over coils, they're hks, i have spl camber arm front and back, 305 potenza tires, tow bolts also, NOW HERE IS THE ISSUE, when i hit a bump or accelerate past like 50, the back end fishtails a little, or when i hit a bump, same thing reoccurs, car is aligned so its not toe, and wheels are new, and my struts aren't blown, So end links maybe? any advice would help be a great ton thank you in advance!!

Well let's start with the obvious -- your car is slammed. As such, you have very little travel in your suspension. I'd raise your coilovers about an inch.

Push370zzz 04-12-2015 02:17 PM

That's what happens when you ruin your suspension. It's too low and is likely the suspension isn't actually dialed in properly. I would have another shop check it.

Decide whether you want to show it or drive it. All that slammed to the ground stuff is just for looks.:shakes head:

Slow down for bumps?

Memphis370Z 04-12-2015 06:25 PM

Looks nice, though.

car isnt designed to drive that low on the street.

What'a your alignment specs?

D3santis 04-12-2015 10:59 PM

Issue found, car rides amazing again, simple camber arm issue, I'm in stock number range, and i can lift the car up to stock height wit push of button, I combined UAS air bags with hks coilovers, ride quality is amazing, handling is out of this world, Couldn't be happier with the results, Being static just wasn't for me anymore, I know its pricey put converting your setup to air is well worth it trust me

Care to explain exactly what the camber arm issue was?

"not a bad way to spend $10,000"

Except that it is a bad way to spend $10,000

i just wish he had the decency to come back and let us know what "simple camber arm issue" means.

I'd also like to berate him a bit on "handling is out of this world" comment since that seems like an impossibility while riding on bags. maybe I am just having a bad night though.

Possibilities are that he (the OP) had loose hardware or possibly missing hardware along the set up. He just realized his big mistake and he's not coming here to explain his mistake. Most people are like that. If the problem is due to someone big screw up such as not connecting something, not installing the hardware correctly or missing the hardware at all, they don't have the guts to come here and post the real reason behind their issues or mistakes.

makes sense. during my formative years I pulled one or two bonehead mistakes along the lines of not tightening/torquing something down and having it cause problems later on. Fortunately nothing major. now i have various techniques to ensure that doesn't happen. live and learn.
