brother 90ST, coming from a gentleman who really drives your 370Z
you are a true bell weather and can attest to these claims. Where
are you at in miles or kilometers on your Z currently ?

Just hit 70K on stock rotors and pads, the pads still had about half life, the rotors looked really good too. Our stock brakes hold up pretty well. I was hearing squealing only when slowly backing up so I decided to replace rotors and pads. It must has been the massive amount of brake dust causing the squealing, swapped front/rear rotors and pads no more squealing. I drive very aggressive, I also downshift when slowing down to conserve brake life.

Yeah save your money my friend, to be honest if I had known how much life I had left on the pads/rotors before ordering the EBC rotors/pads I would have saved myself some dollars or purchased a breather mod. Just read that someone hit 125k miles with stock pads and rotors before needing replacing.

Do you have the sports package brakes? With the Akebono's you can check pad wear without even removing the caliper. You just pull them part way out of the back of the caliper and slide them right back in if they've still got life

I really like this feature, but the pads last so long it's not really necessary lol. I'm looking to replace my stock rear rotors and pads. Mine have been squealing for a while during low speed braking.

It has the sport Akebonos, I too like that feature very easy to check. Never done a brake job ever in my life. I should have done more research before ordering the brakes.

Well the good news is that I should not have to replace brakes for a very long time LoL.

Interesting... So you don't have to remove the calipers to change the pads with the sport brakes?
