My OEM pads had plenty of life left but started squealing around 30k mi (not sure if I somehow glazed the pads or something). I replaced them and squealing went

My OEM pads had plenty of life left but started squealing around 30k mi (not sure if I somehow glazed the pads or something). I replaced them and squealing went away. You could try applying more brake parts lubricant (grease) to the shims and back of the pads and see if this helps. Luckily brake service on the Z with the akebono sport brakes is a cinch.
