Any harm in lowering just the front?
 

Hi,

I was looking at the swift spring setup for my 2014 Nismo. The only thing that bothers me is the stock front height, so I was wondering if there's anything wrong with installing Swift springs only on the front and leaving the rear stock. Will this throw off the dynamics of the car by mixing the springs? I feel having Swifts for the front only would give a really balanced look. Thoughts?

Spring rates for the swifts are much stiffer than stock. I would recommend doing both if you're going to do it but that's just my anecdotal advice.

Yes it will throw off the balance. I'd recommend doing both the front and rear as penguin said, won't hurt a thing and will look great and perform even better than it looks.

If you were to just change out the front with swift springs, you would not be just "lowering the front" you would be screwing up that balance between your front springs and rear springs because the swift springs are matched F/R (as are your OEM springs)-you do not want to mix and match them. Would cause some serious handling issues I am sure.

"Just lowering your front" would be changing the ride height like you could do with coil overs. Lowering springs are not coil overs.

you'd still want coilovers or else it will handle even worse than it looks.

If you do that, be sure to get a second spare tire, put both of those on the rear instead of the stock wheels. After that, be sure to remount your spoiler backwards.
