Condition:
Getting a wicked rattle over sharp bumps in the road. Testing: Has occurred since installing new front sway bar. All frame and endlink bolts are tight for the sway bar. This is the whiteline bar 27mm front. Any thoughts?

Something's loose.
![]() On a more serious note, I dought it's related but you can always put the stock ones back and see if you still get it. Did you put the grease between the sways and the bushing?

Could be that the bar is moving sideways - are the lateral retainers tight and offering no freedom of movement ??
Check also that the urethane mount bushes have not moved and are still retaining the bar firmly. |

![]() Quote:
The bar's bushing had 1/2 inch of lateral play, hence the thunk. Resolution: Snugged up lateral locks and re-positioned the bushing. More gooder now. ![]()
