I got this the deluxe mesh powder coated flat black...

The rear bumper does not fit with the FI exhaust. The resonated exhaust tip was touching the top and bottom of the exhaust vents.

However I did purchase quad tips using Fly1 suggested specs.

Hey, how much for the full kit frp with carbon lip shipped to 95368? How much would you guys charge to paint it also? Thanks.

bkngo 05-06-2015 06:24 PM

http://www.fly1motorsports.com/nissan370z/zl-body-kit.
It's $600 each for FRP front/rear bumpers and full carbon fiber lip = $1800
the FRP side skirts will cost $350.
Plus shipping will vary... They won't paint and ship because you have to dry fit the kit. I've already asked...

I will accept carbon fiber hood, fenders, or ZL wide body kit as a form of payment for my services

The shop that I am using stated that the kit is good (better than most that they installed). A few minor flaws (easily fixed), but it is expected because of the fiberglass material. They asked me what type of base (the white part) did you used on the body kit because they were afraid it would cause bubbling after painting.

The game plan is they will dry fit it, fix all the imperfections (little cracks, any fitment issues, uneven surfaces), mask off the CF parts, paint, unmask CF parts, clear coat everything.

BTW, FI CBE does not fit with ZL rear bumper without modifying the exhaust tips. However, you guys do sale the ZL rear bumper without the bottom piece. Do you have a picture with that bumper installed?

The material is just chop strand mat fiberglass with primer. Yes, you have to cut off tips of any dual exhaust; install the bumper and have an exhaust shop align and weld on the quad tips (possibly build a small "y"). This sounds more involved than it really is.

We can make the rear w/o the bottom portion. In fact we are doing that on our shop Widebody and building a diffuser to run w/ dual exhaust. Should have pics in about a week. :tiphat:

Test fit day:

Superior Autobody (been in busy for +30 years and won top local auto body shop for 2014) stated that the quality was a 8/10 and the fitment is a 7/10 (a few uneven surface on the bumpers and small gaps in the side skirts) but overall a good quality kit. Good job Fly1motorsports! I can't wait for the end product. The most difficult thing is to coordinate between exhaust shop and body shop for me right now, but hopefully it goes well tomorrow and I will have my car back next week.

One more day... The kit was not bolted on all the way in these photos. Still waiting for the mesh kit and front carbon fiber lip to be installed.
