Fly1 Motorsports is pleased to announce a new product line we feel will have a wide application, and fulfill a need that has been in the market for some time! After releasing our aluminum skid plates for the Amuse 370Z front bumper, we fielded a lot of inquiries to create something similar for other front lips, bumpers and side skirts. Unfortunately, making "one-offs" in raw aluminum is too pricey and involved - so we had to explore other avenues.

We did our homework, played with various materials and ideas, and have finally come up with a solid, economical solution for the community to protect their custom parts, while not breaking the bank!

The information below should answer most of your questions about our new custom skid plates:

1. Material - Aluminum Composite (two thin, but strong, layers of aluminum with a solid core). Overall width is 3MM, and comes in various colors/finishes. Initially, we will be offering them in a gloss black finish.

2. Application - Double sided tape to secure positioning with self tapping screws to secure attachment.

3. Ordering Process: a) PM us with a picture and description of what you want us to create so we can provide a quote; b) send us an accurate trace of your lip, bumper or side skirt on cardboard or butcher paper; c) let us know if you want the skid plate to extend beyond your bumper or be flush, and if extended, by how much; c) we will fabricate the custom skid plate and ship it back to you within two weeks; d) breathe a sigh of relief as you scrape on speed bumps and driveways

4. Turnaround: We will ship out your custom skid plate within 2 weeks of receiving your trace and payment.

Please note the pics show the skid plate only attached with painter's tape - so final fitment on the car will be much more secure!
