$250 plus shipping is the group buy price?

This is the only reason I wish I went manual instead of paddle shifters...

It does get hot but you get used to it after a while. If you cover it with a towel when you get out of the car it's not bad at all.

(everyone is going off-topic of the vendors post... probably should stop before a mod cleans the thread)

I got in on the last group by and IMHO this knob is well worth the money. I live in AZ so I no hot and the knob does heat up. I use a beer, I mean drink coozie to cover the shift knob and it keeps it cool enough to handle.
edit: I don't drive it with the coozie over the knob it just keeps the direct sunlight off of it and it provides some insulation from the heat! |
thats what worries me burning my hands off in this texas summer heat...but so tempting to get this shift knob
|
I ended up selling mine. But it was a nice shift knob... really like the feel of it when shifting.
|
more important than getting hot in summer is there a noticable diffrence in the shifting or is this more of a dress up piece? thanks
