All these interior CF parts are nice, but I'm hoping for something along the lines of dry carbon without the glossy clearcoat... keeps things less tacky.

Equinox 07-29-2009 03:55 PM

Because of the odd shape of our dash it looks like there might be a gap, but I can tell from the picture it's a nice fit. I just hope the quality is that good when they go out. I've had too many interior parts look good in theory then you get them and they have a smudge in the fiber, or bubbles in the resin.

Either way I'll chance it and take one when they come out - I think a good compliment to this would be covers for the tops of our triple gauges too.

That looks HOT!

Sashimi 07-31-2009 03:24 AM

Hmmmm looks nice, but everyone that I see who has something like this on their dash has it faded within a year. So I'll probobly hold off for a little while till some reviews come in

Why does this look like a 1/2 a job. Nothing over the TACH.

Looks incomplete, need to rethink and take this back to drawing board.

Shunya 08-02-2009 12:00 PM

^agreed also

RCZ 08-02-2009 07:03 PM

Umm...theres a reason why that part of the dash is dull and black...so it doesnt reflect as much on the windshield...shiny cf = you can't see ****.

FuszNissan 08-02-2009 10:34 PM

Don't worry half the fourm already does......j/k..lol

SpawnAeroJohn 08-02-2009 10:45 PM

Put it this way. No matter what the mod is. A group of people will always buy it. Weather its the guy who drives his car 2 inches off the ground and needs a new front bumper every quarter year to the guy who buys a body kit that has the wind resistance of a parashoot. For some its about the look knowing the down falls and looking past it.

For example the cavalier. Many people said it would not sell because its one of the worst built cars in the US. But there are more cavaliers on one block then fire highdrents. (spell check)

Shunya 08-02-2009 10:49 PM

^he does have his point. but yeah RCZ i agree with you shinny objects reflecting back would be dangerous

Come onnnn hehe. I love everyone, except one person who should be taken out back and shot.

I feel like people are starting to get the wrong idea about me, I think I've been a little cynical lately and maybe I'm being a little counter productive. I just can't keep my mouth shut sometimes.

Completely agree, I am not putting down the product. I kept that opinion to myself in the first place, but then I thought about the reflection and figured I'd speak out for the good of the masses.

Yup, I don't disagree. Some people may like it and buy it either way. Im just speaking from a practical standpoint, not really giving my opinion since that would be anything but productive.

In the end, everyone's car is their own. You all paid 30-40k for your cars and that gives you the right to do whatever you want. However, we come to forums to share ideas and opinions and I think thats awesome as long as things stay within taste and with a healthy level of respect for other opinions.

Maybe it won't be that bad, we'll find out when someone buys it.

Equinox 08-03-2009 11:18 AM

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

SpawnAeroJohn 08-03-2009 01:40 PM

bump

Equinox 10-14-2009 03:30 PM

I've had mine for over a month, only issue is the heat initially caused the piece to pull back off the gauges a week after install. I pushed the peice back on and snugged it down - and it hasn't come back up. If it does however, my 3m tape will become involved.
