JSPEC Reverse Fog Lamps now available @ Z1 Motorsports

Now available through Z1 Motorsports, you can now change the "mysterious" black blank in the rear bumper with the JSPEC Reverse Fog Lamp that was intended to be there.

These Lamps are easy to install, but do require some electrical knowledge to make the lamps functional. Cosmetically, the lamps alone further enhance the appearance by eliminating the odd black square that the American market recieved.

Oh you are good, I was just thinking today I want to pick this up but no one has one stock.

How does the light look on a MB Z? Is it still good looking, or does it look out of place?

Dustin@Z1 07-28-2009 06:21 PM

Ehh...the MB cars are going to be a hard decision. Thats really your call buddy. I'm a JDM whore so parts like this go with any color really.

We've got 'em. Give me a call whenever you are ready!

Is there anyway to get a clear lens made for this??

My thought:

If your in a car with tinted windows, or your driving at night and have a reverse-view cam, using one of these with a clear lens would give you a good floodlight for the area behind your car you'd wanna see when backing up... Just a thought.

Does this kit include the oem switch that goes between the heated seats? What about the wiring? Thx

theDreamer 08-04-2009 11:36 PM

There is no switch that goes between the OEM seats, wiring should be in the car already from the DIY I read.

Bump...we re still working on an OE style replacement for the Reverse fog lights. From what we can tell, the infamous center button on these cars are for the Convertible Top on the new roadsters. Roadster guys are going to need an alternative means of hooking up the reverse fog.

neveucd 01-22-2010 03:36 PM

Do you still have these in stock?

Dustin@Z1 01-25-2010 08:52 AM

Yes sir, ready to ship!

We are also now offering the correct wiring pigtail for the 370Z JDM Fog Light so that you may build your own harness if you wish. This will prevent you from having to cut the factory harness.

Purchased...

I have purchased both the light and the pigtail....now I'm not sure where do I go from here to install them. Do you guys have or can you provide some instructions?

Dustin@Z1 03-17-2010 08:55 AM

We offer the pigtail harness so that customers can do a custom installation of the Reverse Fog Lamp, preventing them from having to cut up their factory harness to get the pigtail.

The 370Z already has this plug for the reverse fog lamp. But it is wired into the car and does not have any power going to it.

Some customers prefer to create their own harnesses so that the Fog Light will come on for such scenarios as:

- When the brakes are applied
- When the Head Lamps/ Running Lamps are switched on
- When a seperately installed switch is triggered

How are you wanting to install the fog light? If you can let me know this, I can help you a bit better as to which wires you need to tap into for power, etc.

:tiphat:

So that pigtail plugs into the rear fog light and I can just run my own wires up front to do what I want?
Can you PM just the pigtail shipped to 77095, thanks.
