VARIS Z34 - Elite JDM Catalog

I think it's just wide body front fenders. I'm probably wrong.

As of right now, Varis has made wide front fenders for the kit. The rears have yet to be determined. The rear fenders/quarter panels are very wide to begin with on the 370Z so I guess we shall see what Varis brings out.

Ahhh why did they have to make the top of the front fender stick out like that. It doesn't flow with any of the 370z lines.

Mainly it's for aesthetics but it also promotes better airflow and cooling. The idea is that the air should flow from the front air dam and travel through the fenders and out of the fender vents. Additionally, you can create small holes inside the engine bay which would relieve some of the heat inside of the engine by by traveling out of the fender vents as well. If you've ever seen the R34 GTR Z-Tune, they also have the same fender vent extensions.

Would this kit fit without the wider fenders?

I don't know if we are talking about the same thing. Too me the fenders look amazing besides the the sticking out the top like a tumor

Yeah, the final production kit is always waaay better than the clay modeling. I'm waiting to see this bumper painted white and the center section left black. It'll be like the Varis Arising II bumper for the FT86/FR-S.

See in the picture below how the center section in the air dam is all blacked out? This is what I expect to see in the near future for the Z34 bumpers. I can't wait!

Or if the top portion of the vents in the air dam are painted the body color and the center and side sections are left black like on our Varis Wide Body Bulletproof Automotive FR-S Concept One SEMA Build.
