Hi guys, question for JWM or others who have bought these bulbs..

Have any of you ran into the "flickering" issue that some people experienced with other brands..??

By flickering I mean, sometimes you turn off the lights, and when you turn them back on immediately, bulbs don't light up... Sometimes they needed to be switched off and on several times before they lit up again...

I ran into an issue like this with a different brand of bulbs and it ended up melting the harness on the right headlight.. Had to purchase a new harness..

People were recommending a japanese brand called RIGG (hard to get) and also Philips Ultinon bulbs (expensive)..

Appreciate the input...

Hey pty...I had a similar problem, however I didn't melt the harness. I don't think its a problem with the bulb, rather for me it was properly securing the bulb in slot, and making sure the pins were aligned and tight. Also, the main thing is to make sure the bulb pad is making proper contact with the bulb end. This ensures that there is no flickering or loose connection. I know when I first installed some bulbs, my bulb case was not properly secured around the bulb, and when I turned it on, it flickered and turned off, it took a couple tries to get it to work. So I went back in, and I unhooked the bulb pad, took out the bulb, then carefully put it back in, secured it and made sure the bulb pad was back on tight (you should feel some resistance when you turn it). It solved my problem.

I had it happen and in my case it was the bulbs.. Put the stock bulbs back in, problem solved.. No issues... Changed bulbs, problems... Stock bulbs again, no issues...

Before I tested these bulbs, I read all of the DIY threads on bulb replacements and noted the flickering problem. I cycled the lights several times to make sure we didn't have this issue before they were released.
Jhonathan, let me know if you can think of anything I can check out for you on this if needed.

Jhonathan, If you get any sent back that had this problem with flickering, I'd be glad to see if I get the same issue with them.

Thanks Daemon.

I've sold a ton already with no issues so I don't see it happening.

JWMotoring Order placed!! Woot, Woot! can't wait. Although i had this question about lumens!

So the more lumens you have the brighter or more light the bulb projects??! Or if you get a good balance between 3k & 2k lumens the brighter your light is? Thanks

Thanks You're just up the interstate so you should have them really quick.

Oh yeah sorry I don't have any of the items you asked about in the notes. Maybe I should get some made.

Yeah usually this is the problem, and in most cases its how you put it in versus the bulb itself being bad. However, there are exceptions, especially if you buy the cheap bulbs online, from a company that is not well known.
